first: this bottle is not frail and does NOT dent very easily. i have one dent in mine, but this is from a very heavy slam of the locker upon it, and the dent is not even large. Second: this bottle looks good and is a definite conversation piece. but try to avoid the silver colors; it will look like you're drinking out of a pipe. Last: These are superior to plastic water bottle: you dont taste plastic, and you dont feel like a jerk for piling the landfills with your plastic. Additionally, DO get the special brush. you will want to clean it occasionally, and this brush does a darn good job. and for the record, i have only used this bottle for water, not juice or anything.


I would give this produce 5 stars because I think that if I had ordered directly from Sigg it would have been worth it. Instead, I ordered from Online Fitness and it arrived in terrible condition. There were white streaks and scratches all over it, despite it being advertised as "new." I gave Online Fitness a poor rating because of their apparent lack of quality control and they had the nerve to send me 2 emails requesting that I remove my negative feedback (which I didn't)....ARGH! Anyway, this product would have been perfect if it had arrived looking like it wasn't fished out of a recycling bin.


These bottles are brilliant! We use ours everyday and they hold up really well. I love the way they keep water cool and with regular cleaning, they don't pick up strange aftertastes. And I love the hip design on mine too! Can't say enough about them - worth the money.


Love these bottles. The lifestyle bottles are very pretty and makes me want another one. I like the fact that you can switch from screwtop lid to sports lid for hands free drinking and that you can use them for carbonated beverages. Didn't realize what a cult following these bottles have. Like Uggs and skinny jeans, the college kids are snapping them up. When I got my bottle home I washed the label off the bottom and saw a dent/cut and took it back to Whole Foods where I bought it and then realized they are all like that. There must be a manufacturing reason for it. It looks like a small cut. Enjoy!


this is a christmas gift to be use on a mission trip. I liked the idea that the water will be filtered.


I have had lots of compliments on this water bottle, as I no longer buy plastic bottles. This bottle keeps water icy cold all day and the water tastes excellent. I think I created a trend at the office, as more and more people are buying them. Mine is red in color so I can see it wherever I place it. The bottles are also easy to keep clean and I recommend buying the bottle brush. I use it for other bottles and glasses too. Water stays cold even in a hot car for several hours.


I don't say the cap is odd because of it's built-in carabiner support, but because if you fill it just a tad too much, you'll inadvertently create a "bubble" underneath the cap for when you open it, will pop and leak fluid everywhere. I learned the hard way, and now only fill the bottle up a certain amount before putting the cap on.

The bottle does keep liquids insulated nicely, but if you want liquids to stay hot/cold for longer, get an insulated sleeve that will fit this bottle.

I like the integrated carabiner/clip loop, as it allows for the bottle to be properly secured to a bookbag, or anything that a hook can be hooked to.

It feels like it was built with quality in mind, as I don't think I will be worrying about it falling & cracking or denting. It's easy to clean, doesn't leech into drinks, and is BPA free!


After deciding to replace our Nalgene bottles, I researched metal bottles from various manufacturers. Sigg bottles consistently scored high in reliablility and satisfaction, so we bought a few of them. My only nit is that the lids are easy to drop and maybe lose, so an included lanyard would be nice. But aside from that minor complaint, the bottles are light, odor/taste-less, and dead sexy, to quote someone famous!


I returned this bottle because it was all dinged up and scratched. Honestly, it looked like it had been through Iraq before it got to me in LA. I didn't reorder because it seemed like it would damage easily, and for over $20 I think it should stand up to a little abuse. I've been washing and reusing a glass bottle that one of those fancy, sugary teas come in. It's just as good if not better for for the environment.


I use my Sigg every day. Perfect size, no leaks ever. I throw it in my purse and all the tossing around never unscrews the top, and laying on its side it doesn't leak. It arrived in excellent condition in a timely manner. Very durable, looks great, doesn't give the water a metallic taste at all.
