It's definitely as big as they make it out to be. It holds my gym shoes, clothes and accessories comfortably as well as purse stuff without having to trudge through one to find the other. The multiple pockets definitely come in handy in trying to keep organized.

I have used this bag for work (I am an actor) and it is great for packing costume items, scripts, make-up and other necessary items for a show. I look forward to using it for travel in a couple of weeks and know it will be a great "personal item" for carry-on, since I can stuff it with a change of clothes and small toiletries (3-oz bottles) for emergencies in case my checked luggage becomes "re-routed." :)
