The lightweight and durable folding aluminum Sports Chair, pictured in purple, is perfect for outdoor leisure. In addition to being lightweight, a removable shoulder strap makes this chair very easy to carry. The extra-wide seat (made from durable 600D polyester) and padded armrests were designed for optimum comfort. The large side flap has a velcro pocket for a cellular phone, a velcro pocket for sunglasses, a large zipper pocket to hold valuables, and an insulated wine/water bottle holder (protected by Thermo-Guard). A convenient side table folds out to hold food, drinks, etc. The sports chair makes an excellent gift!

This chair is perfect for larger people. The seat is wide and the height of the seat makes it easy to get out of. The frame is made of sturdy material so that you feel very secure in it. We plan to use this chair both indoors for extra seating and outdoors. The little table attatched is just an extra bonus for drinks, plates etc. I intend to order more.


This is a big boys chair. I'm 6', 210 lbs, and I felt like a dwarf in this chair. If you are 250 lbs plus, then this is the chair for you. The back rest should at least start in the low back, but this one starts just below the shoulders. Result is that there is no low back support. The chrome colored frame is awful. The chair looks like something that should be in a hospital. I'm trying to return it but the return instructions to CostBuy are not easily found. I'm waiting for a response from them. Not real happy about that. Returns directly to Amazon are easy, but not the same to CostBuy so far.

On the positive side, the chair is very light, and very well built and solid. The tray and storage compartment are nice features. If it were smaller, and the frame was another color, it would be a perfect chair.


This is our second set of chairs. We have a set in Florida and now a set up north


We do both Agility (AKC and USDAA) and Hunting Retriever (AKC and HRC) with our two Labs, and Rebecca is Right -- you will see these chairs everywhere at dog agility trials AND hunt tests. We were convinced to buy our own because we could never sit in somebody else's unless they were actually running their dog at the time.

The chairs are sturdy and have a large enough seat to be comfortable for my husband who is a big guy (6'6" 220#). The table is extremely handy, but nobody seems to use the side pockets very much - probably because everyone has field bags. I wish there were a cupholder in the table surface rather than a pocket, but that's just my personal preference.

And of course the fact that they come in camouflage is a big plus!


I am a dog agility addict and my PICNIC TIME CHAIR is part of my normal travel gear. I love the comfort of sitting "on" a chair rather than "in" it. I find the side table extremely useful and the pockets come in handy to store dog treats, pens, course maps, drinks etc. I lost my first chair and ordered a new one right away. I received it in time to use at my next trial. If you ever come upon a Dog Agility Trial whether it be AKC, USDAA or whatever, you will find dozens of these chairs in very attractive colors. Also I may add that an on-line purchase saves money.


Pros: Sturdy to sit on. Comfortable for a larger behinds. Strong fabric that appears that it will last through a lot of use and support heavier adults well. Carry strap is detachable. Side pocket with compartments is detachable. Light weight and easy to carry without the carry strap. Side table is large and sturdy and well placed. I will be using for camping purposes but doubles well for extra seating in the back yard and will carry easily to the neighborhood block party providing me with my own table for dinner.

Cons: Side table is a speckled look. (black, white and gray) I would have preferred a soid color or stainless steel like the rest of the table.



I now own 7 of these chairs and they are the best I have found. Light weight and easy to carry. I wish they made them for young children.


This is a very sturdy, stable chair - not one that will easily tip over in the parking lot at the football game. It's also easy to get out of - especially since you can leave your beverage and food on the nifty tray. Really a must have for the serious tailgater!


We love these chairs! The purchase went smoothly and the chairs arrived on time as promised.


I was looking for a deck chair for my Dad for his birthday. Since he's a big guy, the weight capacity and the size of the seat were very important. It not only holds him with room to spare, but he *loves* the little side table, and he likes the pouches on the side, so he can keep a book, a bottle of water, the phone and other odds and ends outside with him. In fact, he wants more! I got this in forest green because he went to Michigan State and this is one of their school colors. I would have bought it anyway for spaciousness, sturdiness and utility. A great buy and one of the best gifts I've ever given him!
