I was so anticipating this pump. Based on the description and the picture, I could plug it in at home and use it, I could plug it in the car and use it, and it was rechargeable so I could use it in the middle of no where. What a great combination, and at a reasonable price, too.
Guess what...it doesn't work that way. When it's plugged in at home or in the car, the pump doesn't work. There is a switch where the power cord plugs into the unit that turns the unit off when it's charging. It only works off the rechargeable batteries. Is that silly or what. So if you're at home and you want to use it, like, right now, you better hope that you started charging it yesterday. And then you're at the mercy of how charged the batteries are for your pump time.
I have a cell phone that works when it's charging. I have a camcorder that works when it's charging. I have a portable DVD player that works when it's charging. I didn't think I was expecting something out of the ordinary for this pump to work when it's charging, but it turns out I was.
I'm so bummed that I'm sending it back.
