Like other reviewers, I noticed this camera doesn't perform well with indoor artificial lighting. I just took a walk with it outside in overcast conditions about 45 minutes before sunset (weather predicts snow) and it had plenty of light to record good video. I can see it not working very well during that 1/2 hour of prime time hunting just after sunset. But, for a daytime camera in your car, ATV, bike, etc., this will be a great value at less than half the price of the high definition helmet cams.
The mounting options it came with are versatile and seem to be pretty solid. One thing I would have liked to see would be an adapter to allow it to attach to a standard camera tripod screw. This would allow you to use the camera with the myriad camera mounts available for all kinds of cameras. But, the included mounts are a good start.
The mounts included 2 different sized velcro straps and a strap mount, a "tree mount" which is basically a wire screw intended to be screwed into a tree, a hat clip mount, and a foam block mount. I used the hat clip mount on my test walk and it worked great. The camera is light enough that you hardly notice the extra weight on your hat brim.
The tree mount and the hat clip mount both have a locking ball swivel to allow you to fine tune the position of the camera once you have it in place. The two strap mounts and the foam block allow you to mount the camera to just about anything 5-6" in diameter on down. (You could strap it to the barrel of a paintball marker, for example, though I'd recommend you use the waterproof housing if you do.)
The waterproof housing is clear plastic with a thin, removable plastic lens and a silicon O ring. The back of the housing has a small hole for attaching a line or lanyard. The top of the housing has 2 sealed rubber buttons that make contact with the camera's buttons when it's inside.
Another feature I'd like to have seen included with this camera would be a laser aiming device. Since the camera has no screen it is impossible to tell exactly where it is pointing. This requires a bit of trial-and-error to get it aimed at what you want to film, particularly if it's mounted to your hat or helmet. The best advice I can give is to put the helmet on with the camera mounted and hold your head in a natural position looking straight forward and view yourself in a mirror. You should be looking directly into the lens of the camera. Once you have it adjusted how you want it, make sure the mount is tight (but not so tight as to break it) before turning on the camera. Do a few test runs before you try to film a once-in-a-lifetime feat of extreme awesomeness. You'd hate to jump out of a plane or something and find out later your camera wasn't pointed right.
Another thing I liked about the camera's light weight and relatively low cost is that for the price of one of the "pro" helmet cams you could buy 2 or 3 of these and catch multiple angles at once.

the camera works perfect. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a sport camera.

I really like this camera, it works well, accessories are awesome and it's very easy to use. I only have two complaints about it though...
1. Don't plan on using it unless in full sunlight. Even inside the house with room lights on it comes out dark.
2. It "BEEPS" really loud when turning it on, off, starting to record and when taking pictures. Now if EPIC knew that this product was going to be in the woods hunting big game animals, they probably shouldn't have had it make any sounds or at least give it an option to turn off. So this fall when I'm hunting, I'll be turning it on and off in my arm pit under my coat to hopefully not scare away any game.
Besides this, it's a lot of fun to have and does work very well.
