We bought this for a two week trip to Europe after lots of research and we love it! It's very light weight, but well built. We bought the tree frog green---very nice. We wanted to pack light, so my husband and I shared this bag and we each had a carry-on. We used packing cubes to organize everything, and that made moving from hotel to hotel even easier for us. We were in and out of five airports in four countries, and the bag looks as good as when we left home. My husband said it was a breeze to maneuver. The handle in the middle of the bag works well for times when you need to just pick it up and haul it away. It weighed 37 pounds when we left the U.S---that's with enough stuff for two adults for two weeks. Of course, as I said, we packed light---we each had enough clothing for one week, and then we washed our things as needed. On the way home, with all our souvenirs (including heavy bottles of vodka), the bag still only weighed 47 pounds. If you are the type of person who leaves home with everything but the kitchen sink and then buys lots of souvenirs, you're going to have to be careful no matter which bag you buy! If you're looking for a bag with pockets everywhere, this isn't the bag for you. But if you want a bag that is durable and will help you to avoid overweight charges--provided that you don't try to fit all your worldly goods in it---this might be it.

I haven't traveled with this bag yet, but it's a good looking product and seems very well made and is relatively light. It's very well designed and this version is large enough for short term travel or as a 2nd bag on longer trips.
I work internationally as a Seaman and need a bag that will withstand abuse. This one seems like it may last. If it doesn't, I'll definitely update this review.
